    Hey Ben,

Nice blog man. I play over in the US and mostly just GW GT’s. What are you currently using as the setup for your wood elf characters on eagles. its a different approach and would like to know if you dont mind me asking.

      Hi Joe,

I use Arcane Bodkins, Bow of loren and Pagent of Skrikes on the Lord, the BSB gets Asyndis Bane and Hail of Doom arrow.

They are both very fragile but i have found that they can keep themselves out of trouble quite well. Use friendly units or terrain to block LoS while still being able to see your target. You can also out range most enemy shooting.

Thanks man i thought it was the shooting avoidence setup. How have you found playing against demons with this list? I guess if shooting goes tits up then it would not be easy

Deamons are always a struggle especially if they have a bloodthirster. You should be able to take them on but its a hard match up. The Arcane Bodkins really needs to get a couple of wounds on the thirster early in the game, then he has to be weary of massed archers at close range. Its a tough game for sure!

Dont mean to keep throwing questions at you, but i what are your feelings on the Slann dual Engine of the Gods list? I am putting one together so let me know what you think:

Slann w/3 Disciplines, Plaque of Tepok, Bane Head and Dispel Scroll

Priest (Lvl 2) on Engine w/Dispel Scroll

Priest (Lvl 2) on Engine w/Power Stone

    12 Saurus w/ Standard

    12 Saurus w/ Standard

    10 Skink skirnishers

    10 Skink skirmishers

    Stegadon

    3 terradons

    Salamander w/ Extra Crew

    Salamander w/ Extra crew

Its a small army and can be very fragile and i think toes the one trick pony line. but the stegs add the needed punch and the terradons for redirectors

I’m really not sure on the double engine list. It is something we are looking at to take to the ETC. It needs somemore playtesting to see how hard it really is aginst other tough lists.

If you go with 2 engines then i’m not sure the 3rd steg is a good idea.
